DAY 1 – Arequipa - Chivay - Pampa Cañahuas - Volcano Viewpoint - Chivay

START YOUR JOURNEY TO THE COLCA AND ENJOY EVERY ANDEAN LANDSCAPE IN A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE WITH TRAVEL IN PERU!

Between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., we will begin our trip from Arequipa toward the majestic Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world. Along the way, we will enjoy unique Andean landscapes: we will observe vicuñas in the Pampa Cañahuas Reserve, have a comforting coca tea in Patahuasi, and see alpacas grazing freely in the Toccra wetlands. We will make a stop at the Volcano Viewpoint (4,800 m a.s.l.) with a panoramic view of the western mountain range. Arrival in Chivay at midday, free lunch, and an afternoon to rest or enjoy the hot springs.

DAY 2: CHIVAY – CRUZ DEL CÓNDOR – AREQUIPA

ADMIRE THE IMPRESSIVE FLIGHT OF THE CONDOR AND SAY GOODBYE TO THE COLCA WITH AN EXPERIENCE THAT ONLY TRAVEL IN PERU CAN MAKE REAL!

After breakfast, we will head to the stunning Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint, the most famous spot in the valley, where we will observe the majestic flight of the condor over the deep Colca Canyon. We will stay as long as necessary to enjoy the scenery and take photos.
On the way back, we will stop at the valley’s viewpoints, where you can appreciate ancient Inca terraces, and visit the picturesque town of Maca, with its colonial church and local products.
After a free lunch in Chivay, we will begin our return to Arequipa, making short panoramic stops depending on the weather and the group.
