Day 1: Cusco – Km 104 – Wiñay Wayna – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes
WALK THROUGH HISTORY AND DISCOVER THE FIRST VIEW OF MACHU PICCHU!
Very early in the morning, our team will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the Ollantaytambo train station, where you will board the train to Km 104, the starting point of the Short Inca Trail. Upon arrival, we will visit the archaeological site of Chachabamba (2,250 m / 7,217 ft) before beginning a moderate uphill hike through mountain landscapes and subtropical forest.
After approximately 2.5 hours of hiking, we will reach the impressive Inca complex of Wiñay Wayna (2,650 m / 8,694 ft), an archaeological gem surrounded by terraces and waterfalls, where we will enjoy a picnic-style lunch.
In the afternoon, we will continue to Intipunku (Sun Gate), from where you will have your first panoramic view of Machu Picchu, bathed in the golden light of sunset. Finally, we will descend on foot to Aguas Calientes, where you may relax in the hot springs (optional) and rest at your hotel.

DAY 2: EXPLORE THE INCA WONDER OF MACHU PICCHU – Cusco
DISCOVER MACHU PICCHU AND CONNECT WITH INCA GREATNESS!
After breakfast, we will board the bus to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, where a comprehensive guided tour of approximately 2.5 hours will begin. During the visit, you will explore the most important sectors of the sanctuary: temples, agricultural terraces, plazas, and ceremonial enclosures, gaining an understanding of its history, architecture, and role within the Inca Empire.
At the end of the tour, we will descend by bus back to Aguas Calientes for lunch, and in the afternoon, we will board the tourist train to Ollantaytambo.
