Day 03. Nazca – Nazca Lines Overflight – Journey to Arequipa

Day 04. Arequipa – Free Day

Day 05. Arequipa – Chivay – Colca Canyon

Today we begin our journey to one of the most impressive destinations in southern Peru: the Colca Canyon. We will cross the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, home to vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas in their natural habitat. During the ascent, we will make panoramic stops until reaching the Volcanoes Viewpoint (4,950 m / 16,240 ft), offering views of the snow-capped Ampato and Sabancaya volcanoes. Upon arrival in Chivay, the heart of the valley, you will have the afternoon free to rest or visit the La Calera hot springs (37°C), ideal for relaxation after the journey.

Day 06. Chivay – Condor Cross – Puno

On the return journey, we will visit picturesque villages such as Yanque, Coporaque, Achoma, and Maca, where traditions, textiles, and colonial churches reflect the living essence of the Andean world.
In the afternoon, we will continue by road to the highland city of Puno (3,827 m / 12,555 ft), on the shores of the legendary Lake Titicaca.

Day 08. Puno – Cusco (Route of the Sun with Guided Stops)
TRAVEL ALONG THE ROUTE OF THE SUN AND FOLLOW IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE INCAS!
Today we will begin a scenic journey to the imperial city of Cusco along the famous Route of the Sun, a route that combines history, culture, and nature. Our first stop will be the Pucará Museum (3,910 m / 12,828 ft), birthplace of the traditional ceramic bull figures. We will continue to La Raya (4,335 m / 14,222 ft), the highest point of the route, where snow-capped mountains and herds of llamas frame unforgettable landscapes.
Next, we will visit the Raqchi Temple, an ancient ceremonial center dedicated to the god Wiracocha, and later the Andahuaylillas Church (3,121 m / 10,239 ft), a jewel of colonial Baroque art known for its murals. We will enjoy an Andean lunch in Sicuani before continuing the journey to Cusco, the historic capital of Peru.

Day 09. Cusco – Humantay Lagoon – Cusco
HIKE TO HUMANTAY LAGOON AND FEEL THE POWER OF THE ANDES!
Very early in the morning, we will depart toward the village of Mollepata (2,803 m / 9,196 ft), where we will enjoy an Andean breakfast before continuing to Soraypampa (3,900 m / 12,795 ft), the starting point of our hike. We will begin the ascent to the impressive Humantay Lagoon (4,250 m / 13,944 ft), located at the foot of the majestic Salkantay Mountain (6,271 m / 20,574 ft).
During the hike, the guide will share the history and spiritual significance of this sacred lagoon, while we enjoy spectacular views of the Andes and its turquoise waters reflecting the glaciers. Upon arrival, we will perform a brief gratitude ceremony to nature, a traditional Andean practice honoring the Apus, or protective mountains.
After time to rest and take photographs, we will begin the descent back to Soraypampa and return to Cusco.

Day 10. Cusco – Sacred Valley of the Incas VIP – Aguas Calientes
ENTER THE SACRED VALLEY AND FOLLOW IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE INCAS!
Today we will explore one of the most emblematic regions of the ancient empire: the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Our first stop will be Chinchero (3,762 m / 12,342 ft), known as the “Town of the Rainbow,” where we will visit its archaeological site and witness a demonstration of traditional Andean weaving.
We will continue to Moray (3,385 m / 11,105 ft), a remarkable Inca agricultural laboratory formed by circular terraces that showcase the brilliance of their engineering. Then we will visit the Maras Salt Mines (3,380 m / 11,089 ft), a complex of more than 3,000 salt pools that shimmer under the sun and have been used since pre-Inca times.
After a buffet lunch in Urubamba, we will head to Ollantaytambo (2,792 m / 9,160 ft), a living jewel of the Inca period, where we will tour the Temple of the Sun and its impressive terraces.
In the afternoon, we will board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes (2,040 m / 6,692 ft), the town at the foot of Machu Picchu.

Very early in the morning, we will board the bus that ascends to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu (2,430 m / 7,972 ft), one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Upon arrival, we will begin a guided tour of approximately two hours, exploring its main sectors: the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Condor, the Sacred Plaza, ceremonial fountains, agricultural terraces, and the ancient paths that once connected the citadel with the rest of the Inca Empire.
During the visit, our guide will share the history, symbolism, and architectural secrets of this Andean masterpiece. You will then have free time to enjoy the landscape, take photographs, and connect with the spiritual energy of the site.
In the afternoon, we will descend by bus to Aguas Calientes, take the train to Ollantaytambo, and continue by ground transportation to Cusco.

Day 12. Cusco – Rainbow Mountain – Cusco

Very early in the morning, we will depart from Cusco toward the southern valley, passing through picturesque landscapes until reaching the village of Cusipata (3,310 m / 10,860 ft), where we will enjoy a traditional Andean breakfast. We will then continue to the starting point of the hike, at approximately 4,500 m / 14,764 ft, where we will begin the ascent to the famous Rainbow Mountain – Vinicunca (5,020 m / 16,466 ft).
During the hike, the guide will explain the geological origin of its natural colors, formed by minerals that paint the mountain in bands of red, green, yellow, and ochre.
As we ascend, we will enjoy spectacular views of the snow-capped Ausangate Mountain (6,384 m / 20,945 ft), the highest and most sacred mountain in the Cusco region.
Upon reaching the summit, there will be time to admire the scenery, take photographs, and feel the powerful energy of the Andes. We will then begin the descent to enjoy a comforting lunch before returning to Cusco in the late afternoon.
